The Far Corners Retreat With the help of some of my friends, we located a wonderful site for our weekends. It is the Day Spring Episcopal Conference Center in Ellenton, FL. We hope you will visit the website so that you can see what it looks like and what facilities are available. However, all reservations are made through us. Do not try to contact Day Spring for rooms The next weekend is October 31 - November 2, 2008. You have two choices on the type of accommodations that are available on-site at Day Springs. The cabins and lodges all have rooms containing two beds. For one rate you can share the room, or you can pay slightly higher and have the room to yourself. When the on-site rooms are gone (or if you prefer), we have saved a block of rooms at two hotels on Rt. 301 just outside the entrance to Day Spring. More detailed information on reservations costs and hotels is contained on the Reservation button on this site. We are limited by the size of the classroom which will hold 55 seated at tables. We operate on a first come first serve basis. Refunds for the retreat can be obtained up until two weeks prior to each date, this is because we are required to make full payment to Day Spring ten days prior to the event. After that date, Day Spring will not refund the money for whatever reason. Therefore, the only refund in the final two weeks will be your registration fee to us. The entire retreat will be taped and copies of all schedules, handouts, worksheets, letters, and reading lists will be made available. The entire package can be obtained from Lee's Tapes.
